Main Street Station Commerical Electric Project, Straight Shot of The Back of The Building with Red and Green Lighting

PROJECT DETAILS

The Main Street Station Train Shed is a historic two-story structure, encompassing approximately one hundred thousand square feet. It was originally designed by the Wilson Brothers and constructed in 1901, and it is recognized for its historical significance with a listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The building serves a variety of important functions, operating as a train station and multi-modal transportation center, as well as a state welcome center, while also accommodating a range of other commercial uses. The project, carried out over a four-year period from 2014 to 2018, included substantial upgrades and improvements to the facility. The key enhancements featured in this installation are two new electrical services, the addition of LED lighting equipped with color-changing controls, a complete lightning protection system, a new generator system, a modern fire alarm system, and upgraded site lighting to enhance safety and visibility throughout the property.
